Quality control through elemental analysis

Over the years, the focus of elemental analysis has emerged from its classical applications in organic chemistry, e.g. the confirmation of sum formulas for newly synthesized compounds, moving towards quality control of industrial products. As an example, our analyzers are able to determine if a car’s winter tire has enough grip by measuring the cross-linking of the sulfur. Optimized for the use in chemical laboratories

Our elemental analyzers offer a large dynamic measurement range, even when there are great differences in relative concentrations (e.g., trace nitrogen or sulfur in the presence of high carbon content). Sample sizes from sub-milligram up to three-digit milligram range can be analyzed thanks to our unique quantitative combustion and gas separation technology, resulting in universal flexibility regarding sample type and sample weight. This makes our analyzers the optimal solution for chemical laboratories.
