TOC analysis in sediments according to the Water Pollution Control Process Testing Standards in Korea
This Application Note addresses the challenge of accurately and efficiently determining total organic carbon (TOC) in sediment samples in compliance with Korea’s Water Pollution Control Process Testing Standards. It highlights the role of Korea’s national sediment monitoring network in assessing aquatic environmental quality and demonstrates how reliable total carbon (TC), nitrogen (N) and TOC analysis of sediment samples can be achieved using the vario MACRO cube elemental analyzer, supporting standardized monitoring and regulatory compliance.
