Headspace analysis is a powerful technique used to analyze samples prepared for analysis in a septum sealed vial or flask. These samples are typically gaseous, but if not, our instruments will automatically prepare the sample into the gas phase and purify it prior to analysis at the isotope ratio mass spectrometer, reducing the requirement for prior sample clean up.
