Please note that the use of individual services that exceed a simple use of our website may possibly require prior registration and/or confirmation of additional regulations that may possibly have priority.

We reserve the right to modify the content of this privacy notice from time to time to legal and factual circumstances. The notice published at the time of your visit on our website is applicable.

1. Personal data

Personal data is individual data concerning personal or factual information of an identified or identifiable natural person. This includes information such as your name, your address, and your email address. Information that cannot be directly connected to your true identity - e.g. pages of our website that are particularly favored by users in general or the number of users of a page - does not constitute personal data.

2. Collecting data on these websites and other processing

When you visit our websites, our web servers by default temporarily store the connection data of the inquiring computer (e.g. IP address), the time of the server inquiry, the pages that you visited on our website, the date and the duration of your visit, the identification data of the browser and operating system type used, and the website from which you visit us (referrer). It is not possible for us to identify a natural person from this data.

Our interest in processing the stated usage data consists in particular in ensuring the functionality and security of our IT systems and to optimize our Internet offer. Any personal information exceeding this, e.g. your name, your address, or email address, are generally not captured unless you provide such information voluntarily, e.g. when using our contact form or registering for our events.

Your personal data will be deleted after complete provision of services and after expiration of the retention periods under tax and commercial law, unless you have expressly consented to more extensive use of data or insofar as this is otherwise legally permissible or necessary.

You are not obligated by law to disclose your information. When registering for an event, mandatory information is marked with an asterisk. Your registration cannot be processed unless you disclose this data. This information is necessary to conclude the contract.

The corresponding personal data is collected and processed based on Art. 6 (1) Clause 1 let. b GDPR (contractual purpose).

Beyond this, processing is lawful if it is necessary in the individual case to maintain our legitimate interests or the legitimate interests of a third party (Art. 6 (1) Clause 1 let. f GDPR).

Your personal data will not be disclosed or otherwise transmitted to third parties unless this is necessary for the purpose of utilizing functions of the website or to process your inquiries or an order (e.g. to contracted technical service providers) or you have expressly given your consent to such.

We use the software of our service provider Cisco WebEx Inc. to execute our webinars. We use the personal data provided by you exclusively to execute the webinar. We do not transmit personal data to Cisco WebEx Inc.
